# Do I need the app for SugarPixel+?

No. SugarPixel+ is set up entirely on its touchscreen — see [Setup My SugarPixel+](/sugarpixel-plus/setup).

* **The QR code on the box** opens this manual. It isn't used for pairing.
* **The SugarPixel Hub app** is only needed for extra features such as [remote snooze](/sugarpixel-plus/snoozer). To pair it, open **≡ → Snoozer → Pair Phone** on SugarPixel+ and scan the QR code shown there from the SugarPixel+ tab in the app.
* SugarPixel+ never appears in the app's Bluetooth device list — that list is for SugarPixel Mini and Classic.
