# Alerts

All alerts are optional. Open your SugarPixel's settings and tap **Alerts** to choose **when** it alerts (or use the **Alerts** step of the setup wizard). How it gets your attention — sound, vibration, flashing — is set under [Alert Types](https://support.customtypeone.com/sugarpixel-mini-classic/alert-types.md).

Three alerts are available. Turn each one on with its switch, then drag the sliders:

* **Low alert** — readings **Below** the level you set.
* **High alert** — readings **Above** the level you set.
* **No data alert** — when no new reading arrives **After no data for** the number of minutes you set. 30 minutes works well for most people — a shorter time can alert when only a few readings are missed or delayed. Not available with [Libre FGM](https://support.customtypeone.com/sugarpixel-mini-classic/cgm-connection/libre-fgm.md).

Each alert also has a **Snooze for** time: how long pressing the button snoozes that alert.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If you turn all three alerts off, the setup wizard asks you to confirm — SugarPixel Mini/Classic will then only show readings and never alert.

## Snoozing

Press the **top button** once to snooze an active alert for its **Snooze for** time. If the reading is still low or high when the snooze ends, it alerts again. **Auto‑snooze** (under [Alert Types](https://support.customtypeone.com/sugarpixel-mini-classic/alert-types.md#auto-snooze)) stops an alert on its own when nobody snoozes it. You can also snooze from the app, including ahead of time — see [Snoozer](https://support.customtypeone.com/sugarpixel-mini-classic/snoozer.md).
