# Nightscout

> Connect directly to your Nightscout site URL

  <Step title="Confirm your site is working">
    Open your Nightscout site in a browser and verify readings are visible. Copy the URL into the SugarPixel Mini/Classic URL field.

  <Step title="Add a token if required">
    Many Nightscout sites restrict access by default. To check: open your site in a private/incognito browser — if you're prompted for a password, it's restricted.

    To create a read-only token: go to **Admin Tools** in your Nightscout site → add a new **Subject** named SugarPixel with Role: **readable** → copy the generated access token and paste it into the **Token** field in SugarPixel Mini/Classic.

  <Step title="Tap Sync CGM">
    SugarPixel Mini/Classic will begin downloading readings once the URL (and token if needed) are saved.
