Start here: make sure the SugarPixel app is up to date in the App Store or Play Store, and that your SugarPixel Mini/Classic has the latest firmware installed. See Firmware Update.
1. Restart both devices
- Reboot your phone
- Unplug SugarPixel Mini/Classic and plug it back in
- Try connecting again in the app
2. Check app permissions
Open your phone’s Settings → Apps → SugarPixel and confirm all permissions are allowed. Then reopen the app and try connecting again. If the app shows “Stopped”, also make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.3. Remove and re-pair Bluetooth
An incorrect pairing code is the most common cause of connection failure. If the wrong code was entered, your phone may show “connected,” but SugarPixel Mini/Classic will not send data.- Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings
- Find the saved SugarPixel Mini/Classic device
- Select Unpair / Forget / Delete
- Restart your phone
- Unplug and replug SugarPixel Mini/Classic
- Open the SugarPixel app and reconnect
- When prompted, enter the 6-digit code shown on the SugarPixel Mini/Classic display
4. Manual pairing (if needed)
- Remove any saved SugarPixel Mini/Classic in Bluetooth settings
- Restart phone and SugarPixel Mini/Classic
- In phone Bluetooth settings, tap SugarPixel Mini/Classic when it appears
- Enter the 6-digit pairing code
- If it shows “Connected,” tap to Disconnect (do not forget)
- Reboot SugarPixel Mini/Classic
- Open the SugarPixel app and connect
